Glory In The Passing

I received a call no daughter wants to receive: Dad was ill and they had moved him to ICU. His nurse gave me an update and said if I wanted to see him alive, I needed to come as soon as possible. This book is about the events that followed.
Some topics in this book: End of life decisions, Grieving well the death of a loved one, Dealing with wrongful death, Depression vs. Grief, Steps to recovering from loss, and more.
I want you to find comfort and healing in this book. That is my prayer for you.
You are reading a book written from those of us who have said goodbye to loved ones. Everyone who has had a hand in getting this book to you has said a recent goodbye. This is not a medical book or a psychology book- it’s a “we lived it” book and we share our encouragement with you.
When I was leaving work, right after receiving the phone call my dad was passing, I briefly stopped by my boss’ office. We were discussing the information the nurse had given me. My boss gave me one piece of advice, “Write it all down! You will be so glad you did!”
You are holding my prayerful response to that request. My hope is that it would help someone process their loved one’s going home day. Death is part of life. No matter how we try to escape it, it will come and we MUST know how to successfully navigate seemingly overwhelming waves. There is a way through the valley of the shadow of death. I hope my journey through it will help you.
