Grace

I love grace, God’s grace. God’s favor upon my life. God’s sufficiency overwhelming my insufficiency.

I can rest in His grace. He did it all for me. I don’t have to be righteous on my own through works. I don’t have to pray enough, fast enough, pay enough or do enough to be counted as righteous. It is who I am because I am in Him. Now I do works because I want to.

There were times in my life I focused on works just because I wanted Him so bad that I was not sure how else to get more of Him. However, now, I just want to rest in Him and be close to Him. He is calling us all to a stillness before Him that is refreshing. It is not a laziness or a break from volunteerism but a break in our motive of why we do our service. Let our motive be that we do it all for the Glory of God. When that is our heart cry everything else will fall into place.

Opportunity

I sense when I pray that the Holy Spirit is excited about the opportunity He has to minister to people like never before!

Do you see around you that everything is very distinct. There are really no gray areas like there were years ago. As the dark gets darker the light shines ever brighter. As people are constantly let down by their addictions, tumultuous relationships and own inability to guide their life, they are reaching for Jesus like never before! They are hungry and searching for Christ.

My advice to my children is, “Love Jesus! Keep Jesus as your very best friend! Share everything with Him and enjoy Him! After that, being a witness is easy!”

It’s A New Day

Aren’t you thankful that the Lord makes a new day every 24 hours? Fresh ideas, fresh thoughts, fresh grace and His mercy is new every morning!

Don’t you love something new? My website has a new look! My husband surprised me with the new design. The picture of the mountain was taken this summer on one of his hikes. I love pictures of mountains and he loves to hike and take the pictures… I am not so much of the hiker…

It is exciting to be serving the Lord in this day and time. I love to tell others of His grace and love.

Truly, all I want to do is lift Him up!
